A stunning piece of Oriental artwork that features a contrasting mix of dark-green bamboo alongside a blood-red flowering plant.
This artwork is mounted upon a large paper canvas with a dramatic wooden scroll at the top - the piece is designed to be simply hung and not framed. It would look magnificent in a contemporary environment.
The Chinese calligraphy basically tells of strength and safety, which is what the Bamboo represents and stands for.

An explanation of how the paintings are mounted
The majority of our paintings, unless stated, are mounted onto an elaborate scroll. Each scroll is bascally a long length of thick paper, with a thin wooden dowell at the top and a heavier wooden tube at the bottom.
This image illustrates how our art work is delivered. The image shows firstly how the height/widths given on the sites represent the full height/width of the scroll (and not just the painted part). This is to help you better judge use of space!
